TRUNK SHOW: Meet & Greet (2 hours) Modern Traditional Quilting / Samplers / Hoop Quilts A look at my work in modern traditional quilting with an informal approach for chatting and conversation. Cost: $100 *Only available if a workshop is booked for the same event.*
LECTURE: Modern Traditional Quilting / Samplers / Hoop Quilts (1 hour) A look at my work in modern traditional quilting and my journey from hobbyist to professional. The difference between Modern and Modern Traditional Quilting is highlighted. Many anecdotes to tell with each quilt, as we all know, every quilt has a story. Mine begins with life before quilting as a biomechanical engineer and a girl who couldn't sew a stitch. Cost: $300
WORKSHOP: HOOP QUILTS Workshop (7 hours with lunch break) Break out of the Block! HOOP QUILTS are a super way to turn a mini quilt into something unique and go ROUND. Choose to make your Hoop Quilt in any of the 3 different sizes using large embroidery or hand quilting hoops. Add as much quilting and embellishment as you like by hand or machine, and then finish the piece by wrapping the outer ring of the hoop in fabric. A fast, fun and fresh project. Charm pack and scrap friendly! Cost: $650 for 20 students. $25 each for each additional student.

WORKSHOP: Patchwork Auditions Workshop (7 hours with lunch break) A fun and colorful workshop to make a small 4 block modern sampler based on the popular Patchwork Auditions series and my book, Sister Sampler Quilts. Explore different coloring options for traditional quilt blocks to think outside the box and rejuvenate quilt blocks we know and love. Whether you choose to make your sampler from just one block or make yours with 2 Sister Block Pairs, you’ll enjoy reimagining time-honored blocks with new possibilities. Cost: $650 for 20 students. $25 each for each additional student.
WORKSHOP: Farmhouse Porch Workshop (3 hours) Farmhouse Porch is a colorful and scrappy take on a classic quilt block. Make the Granny Square block in two sizes - large blocks for the quilt center and small blocks for the border. Both combine wonderfully when arranged together. In this workshop, we'll discuss methods of scrap management, how to make scrap quilts look cohesive, and squaring up on point Granny Square blocks.. Farmhouse Porch is precut friendly. Cost: $350 for 20 students. $25 each for each additional student.
