Happy New Year! The big day to kickoff the Chocolatier Block of the Month Club is here. I am excited to make a new flavor ("skittles") Chocolatier along with you. Here's to a new year and a new adventure.

Today, the Month #1 Block Pattern for Chocolatier is now available.

Generally, we will be making 2 blocks each month. This first month is one of the exceptions. This month we are making the 4 star blocks that appear in the corners of the quilt. The star blocks are flanked by large half square triangles that add more visual interest to these blocks. These stars look special with the on pointe hourglass and the silver metallic speckle in the background fabric. These softer colors reminded me of Mentos this month. :)

Fabric is Cotton Supreme Solids, and Flurries from Shiny Objects by RJR Fabrics for my version of the BOM. Find my color selections listed here.
