It’s a Christmas Quilt finish just in time for the holidays! This pattern, called the Noel Quilt Pattern by Sweetwater, combines their The Christmas Card fabric line and the Holiday Printworks panel for Moda in a half square triangle holiday heaven. This is a great beginner and precut quilt pattern.
I decided to make a Noel quilt because I loved the simplicity. Getting back to half square triangle basics was something I needed this fall to help calm the nerves with the kids oscillating between various forms of virtual, hybrid, and (well, we never made it to) full school.
A certain fuzzy someone has claimed this quilt already. She didn’t even let me take the pictures without cat hair first :/.
You know, I also always love the rhythm of hand embroidery and this pattern was able to include that as well. Hand stitching surrounds each letter of “Noel”. It’s nice to have a new finish just in time for the season!
