April’s Month 4 pattern of the Hygge Sampler has arrived! We’re going to keep on cozy-ing with more warm bevvies during what is usually a cold and rainy April here. Sometimes we make only one block, but most months there are several to make a little gallery. This month we are again sewing a single block - this one should whip up fairly quickly!

This month, we have Block #4 Spot of Tea from the Hygge Sampler Quilt Pattern. “Tea time is a chance to slow down, pull back and appreciate our surroundings.” – Letitia Baldrige
Here we construct our tea block using a few templates and our second go-around with applique.
Remember your applique shapes will reverse when you fuse the web to the back. So if you prefer that squiggle on the tea bag to wiggle one way instead of the other, take note of that. Ultimately, it makes no difference as long as both tea bags side by side are the same. Here is a link to a tutorial on raw edge applique if you need one.
